The first expectation is that students attend regularly. Our students usually love coming to school and, as English is a second language, it is important that are immersed in an English speaking environment very regularly. There is a correlation between under achievers in later years and frequent absence in early years.
There is also an expectation that parents will maintain a dialogue with their child’s teacher. If there are problems such as illness, school reluctance, or bullying, it is important that teachers know. A problem shared is a problem on its way to a solution!
Equally, teachers will seek to maintain a dialogue with parents so that any concerns are made known at the earliest opportunity.
Students are expected to maintain the school uniform code and also the discipline of the classroom.
