On entering the Senior Section students are allotted a place in one of four Houses: Phoenix, Centaur, Dragon and Unicorn. There are regular house meetings and students participate in a variety of competitions and sports events to win points for their House. In addition, each House chooses a service activity to carry out in each year.
From class 8, the school operates the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. This is a four part process whereby young people have to engage in learning a skill; performing a service for the community; improving in a chosen sport and taking part in an adventurous activity.
In order to open minds to the world directly around them, there are number of field trips in the senior years. In Class 8 students go on an overnight field trip as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and in class 9 they go overnight as part of their Bangladesh studies programme.
