Dear Parents,
You must be aware of our plan to introduce our own fleet of buses to transport children to school from designated places. Recently, we also circulated forms to all parents to indicate their preliminary response to our plan.
To prepare our transport plan, we have taken into consideration the concentration of students in each area. Based on this, and also on the feedback from parents, we have finally decided on the following:

We are confident that our valued parents would appreciate our effort to provide transport for our children. To suit our plan, classes at new campus will start at 8:15 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. as announced before. Departure time for buses from new campus is 2:10 p.m. Students (KG-II to class 2) who finish school at 1:15 p.m. may stay back at school till 2:10 p.m. However, we would also provide a bus for them at 1:25 p.m. to go to Gulshan campus from where parents may pick them up.
It may be mentioned that pick-up/drop-off points have been selected to facilitate movements with optimum utilization of time. However, these are general areas for easy identification only. Considering traffic congestions, minor adjustment of points may be necessary after full operation. Approximate timing for pick-up and drop-off at different points will be worked out later and shared with parents. Meanwhile, we are also working on the feasibility of erecting passenger sheds at different points with the help of the City Corporations.
We may also add that our buses will be fully air-conditioned for comfortable commuting where the safety and security of your children will be ensured. We will have a Bus Mother with a mobile phone in each bus to look after the children both ways of the journey.
Sir John Wilson School always intends to give the best service and support to our parents and children. The new campus at Satarkul will open a new vista of opportunities and make learning more effective and satisfying. Transport Application Forms will be sent to all parents through their children from Thursday, 28th May’15. The forms may also be collected from respective section offices. Parents are requested to fill out the form and duly return after selecting choice of route latest by 7th June, 2015 along with one month’s transport charge for securing the child’s seat.
