A Demonstration by Endless Computers at Yunus Center
On Sunday, 21st August 2016, Ms Sabrina Shaheed, Acting Principal along with another staff attended a briefing session on the experimentation of a project with Endless Computers by Grameen Communications held at Yunus Centre, Dhaka. This project aimed to distribute some specially designed computers with a huge amount of preloaded information and different apps which can be used/accessed without Internet. To achieve a successful experimentation, they have chosen a few renowned English medium Schools to distribute some computers free of cost. They hope to receive regular feedbacks in order to upgrade these computers before launching them in the market.
On 6th September, SJWS received three computers which were placed in different locations, where students and teachers both can use them. We hope this new technology will bring a new dimension to the use of computers.
