AGA KHAN INTER SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT: aga-Khan 1

UNBEATEN CHAMPIONS FOR THE THIRD TIME!

 

There is an adage, “Third time’s a charm” and the Wilsoners have proved it by becoming the unbeatable champions for the third time in a row. On Friday, 2nd November, 2018, Sir John Wilson School was invited by Aga Khan School to play in the Aga Khan Junior Inter School Football Tournament. Students from classes 3, 4 and 5 participated in the tournament.

 

 

The first match was a goalless draw against the AKS (Blue Team). The team then proceeded to the next matches, won by three goals against Don Bosco School followed by another win against Turkish Hope School by one goal. The final match was aaga-Khan 2 tiebreaker against AKS (White Team). However, SJWS won 4-3 against AKS (White Team). It was a momentous occasion when SJWS players were awarded the title of “Unbeaten Champions.” Harith Ahmed Zaphyr from 5 Tolkien achieved an award for the best player. The team was coached by Maksudur Rahman and managed by Shafiqul Islam. Congratulations to the Junior Football team of SJWS!
