Dear Parents of class 6-8,

Sir John Wilson School is initiating an eco-brick project in order to make our school re-use plastic and raise awareness regarding plastic pollution amongst our students. A few of our A level students have taken the lead in this project and plan to make an obstacle course and a few benches in the school field using these eco-bricks in the next few months.

In order to involve the students of classes 6, 7 and 8 in this exciting project, we would make them learn about plastic re-use through an activity during school hours. We will make all the eco bricks required at school for the project by the students themselves with the help of teacher supervision.

For participating in this project, we require every student to bring the following to school by April 12, 2023 and hand over to their Advisor in a separate packet with name of the student, class and section:

Students are requested to collect all the required wrappers and bottles at home which will reduce household plastic wastage and bring to school for participating in this project. Certificates will be provided upon completion of the activity. We look forward to the parents' kind cooperation regarding collection of the plastic wrappers at their homes and helping their children to participate actively in this project.

Kind Regards,

Senior Section Administration,

Sir John Wilson School
