Dear Parents,

Greetings from Sir John Wilson School!

We have completed the first term of this academic year with a bit of instability towards the end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your immense support and cooperation in smooth running of our online classes. Teachers have given their full effort to make each online and in-person classes fruitful for the students. I am very glad that we could do the hybrid classes successfully for all students and we are pleased with the good attendance of the students. We have been proven to be resilient and hopeful which has carried us through the first term.

This year has been a great year where we have experienced a wonderful representation of the strength of our students. IGCSE and A level results were very good, and we are extremely proud to say that we have our student achieving the World Highest Mark in Chemistry following the trend of his predecessors. Our students showed their mark in the Sports arena as well by winning the Championship in football tournaments hosted by other schools. Wilsoners represented in many youth summits, debating tournaments and enjoyed taking part in different educational fieldtrips carrying the torch of the progressive education system. They have led many in house events for the purpose of raising funds and their compassion for helping others in need has always been reflected through their actions. Our students have been the pioneers to enact for the causes that matters for the future generation starting from plantation programs to breast cancer awareness issues. Wilsoners have always showcased their enthusiasm to learn new things, showed their empathy and respect towards each other and to animals and plants. We could not be prouder of all the Wilsoners!!  

I thank our honourable Teachers for their dedication and love for their students and the institute; my sincere gratitude to our Admin and IT Team for their relentless commitment to keep everything in order. My heartiest thanks to United Group for their able guidance and support in creating a great platform for our teachers who are being trained by best trainers from aboard and home.

Meanwhile, we have been continuously upgrading our facilities of the school campuses. The exterior of the school now dons a rich attractive natural tile which will work as a protective shield for the building in the long run. A beautiful new library has been opened along with a refurbished new Chemistry lab. The recently opened Playzone has become the centre of attraction for the students. Renovation work for the washrooms has started. We promise to complete the ongoing work of the Auditorium very soon. We are trying to upgrade our transportation system by adding multiple routes, keeping up with the need of the parents. I would like to extend my gratitude to United Group for giving us the support in doing all the renovation, construction work as well as maintaining the safety of both the premises.  

A prominent highlight of this year has been the change of the school logo. With the new logo we reconfirm our commitment to change for a better future for our school and the Wilsoners. SJWS promises to keep its core values while inspiring students to find their passion, strength and help them to master all the required skills for a successful future. I am positive that we will have your support in our journey to excellence.
