On the 9th of March I, along with my photography club colleagues, went to the new building site at Satarkul. We travelled by bus and it took almost half an hour to reach there. Though I have to admit the trip there wasn’t much fun, after arriving we found only open land and a great clear river. I thought we would discover nothing interesting, but I was completely mistaken. The sparkles on the river, the texture of the sand and even the people were a topic of great interest. We saw fish jumping about in a great blue river. Many birds were soaring through the great, open skies but, best of all, was the fresh air which was completely different from our city air! We met the village people and Andrina Miss interacted with them. I’m surprised to see they can speak English up to a point! Not only that, they have electricity! We saw cow dung being used as fuel, people bathing in the clear river water and people fishing in the ponds. There were countless things to photograph! It was truly a trip to remember. The experience itself was unique and unforgettable.
