The British Council, in collaboration with Pearson-Edexcel had organized their High Achievers’ Award Ceremony on Saturday, 13th December 2014 for the students who had achieved outstanding results in their International GCSE and A Level examinations in 2014.

The Award Ceremony was held in the Hall of Fame at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka. Ms Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, the Speaker of the Parliament of Bangladesh, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest. British High Commissioner Mr. Robert Gibson; Mr. Brendan McSharry, Acting Director British Council Bangladesh; Mr. Deep Adhikari, Director, Examinations Services, British Council Bangladesh and Mr. Manos Kapterian, Senior Vice President of Pearson Qualifications International were also present in the occasion as special guests. The Parents, Principals and Teachers of all concerned students were also present as guests.

A total of 15 proud SJWS students were present at this ceremony to collect their awards. All these students had either scored a total of 7 and above ‘A’s in their IGCSE or a total of over 4 As in their GCE and IAL in a single sitting. Names of the students are as follows:
