Dear Parents,
Ever since we posted an announcement in our website about our plans to move to the new campus at United City, Satarkul, we have been receiving queries from you regarding the subject. We do appreciate your concern in many areas. At our end, we have given due consideration to your views expressed in various forums.
The following is to further clarify our position and plans and to satisfy your queries and address your apprehensions.
Road:
United City management has committed to make a road connecting Madani Avenue and Beraid Road (road running in front of the school). This road will be much nearer to the school premises – about quarter kilometre away. This United City Link Road will be a private road for exclusive use of SJWS and will be complete by the end of July ‘15. Users of this road will be provided with stickers for the vehicles, thus enabling them to drive through smoothly.
Incomplete construction work:
By the time we start our new academic year on 23 August, 2015, all class rooms and offices will be ready for use. Please note, supply order for new furniture for the class rooms have been placed and delivery will be made by end of July ‘15.
However, some construction work (Administrative building and Auditorium complex) will remain at the finishing stage. This will neither affect classes nor pose any threat to our students and staff members as these sites will be completely fenced off (as if it is a neighbouring building) to ensure safety and security of children. These two sites are expected to be complete by Nov ’15.
If in the unlikely event of the academic buildings not being completed on time, the school will not be shifted until the time the authorities are fully satisfied with the safety and security of the students and staff.
