25 July 2019

Dear Parents,

Eid ul-Adha is the second most important festival in the Muslim calendar. This auspicious festival signifies selfless sacrifice. It is a great blessing that we can celebrate this festival with our family and friends blissfully. To uphold the holy spirit of Eid-Ul-Adha through sacrifice and giving back to the underprivileged community, this happiness can be increased. This gesture of kindness will help our children to inculcate the habit of selfless sacrifice as well. Therefore, we would like to initiate a "Penny Jar Drive" where we will place a container in each class on Sunday, 28 July to 4th August 2019 and students of that class can contribute any amount of money that they wish. The accumulated amount will be given to organisations who work with the disadvantaged people. For safety purpose we would like you to put the money in a sealed envelope if the amount is more than 100 taka. The student can hand over the envelope to the class teachers/ section office managers. However, please note that it is not mandatory for anyone.

I believe, as a school we are trying to create an environment for the children to grow up as a conscience, responsible and above all empathetic citizen of the country. Your small support of today can impact greatly on the overall positive growth of our new generation.

Looking forward to your cooperation.

Regards.
