Precaution for Dengue Mosquitoes
We are all concern about the rise of the Dengue fever. School is taking maximum precaution for this matter. The best ways to prevent the disease are being followed in our campuses.
● Get rid of stagnant water to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes.
● We have allotted designated employees to coordinate inspection, cleaning, eliminating places which are common breeding grounds for mosquitoes ( the water body of the small field has been cleared).
● Drains are being checked weekly and being unclogged.
● Spraying with the fogger machine with Mosquito repellent medicine is taking place on every alternate days on both campuses.
● Every morning the support staff spray the classrooms with Mosquito repellent before students enter the classrooms.
Please take precautions as follows :
● Make students wear full sleeves ( underneath their Uniform) and full pants in school ( Girls can wear leggings underneath their skirts). Almost all Classrooms are air-conditioned, so students will not get too hot even if they wear 2 layers of clothing.
● Use Mosquito Repellent for your child. Patches or Mosquito repellent bracelets are also available which are usually effective up to 10/12 hours.
● Spray cars with aerosol as it's a good hiding place for mosquitoes.
● Make sure your child’s hands and feet are washed regularly as odours draws mosquitoes.
● Avoid dark clothes. It’s preferable to wear clothes of lighter hue in order to make yourself less appealing for these flying menaces.
● If any student displays symptoms of fever or rash, etc. medical assistance should be sought promptly.
Hopefully we will soon overcome this situation.
