Please find the information for one in-house competition and two external competitions:
ONLINE SIR JOHN WILSON SCHOOL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION TO MARK 50 YEARS OF INDEPENDENT BANGLADESH
An online Essay Writing competition will be hosted for students of classes 5-12 in four categories on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 2-3 pm. Zoom classroom details will be sent to parents of interested students. Students will be competing class level wise: Class 5-6, class 7-8, class 9-10 and class 11-12. Students will be submitting the essay by typing in English Language. Word limit for class 5-7 will be 200, word limit for class 8-10 will be 300 and word limit for class 11-12 will be 350. Topic will be mentioned at the start of the competition and NO online resources or books can be used during the competition. Parent/guardian must supervise the student during the competition at home. Please submit the following Google form if your child is interested to participate by Thursday, 9 December 2021. Late registration will not be allowed if submission date is missed.

FIND THE HEADLINE CAMPAIGN BY THE DAILY STAR AND HUNGRYNAKI
Please be informed that The Daily Star is starting a campaign, “Find The Headline”, powered by Hungrynaki, a three-month-long weekly contest to reward the newspaper readers and encourage non-readers while indulging one’s food love. This is set to begin from 1st December 2021.
Contenders only need to register online with a cell number and compete once per week with the challenge to find one random specific Headline from The Daily Star newspaper print within the provided deadline.
Every week, contestants have to snap a picture of themselves with the correct headline proceeding with a submission, to an online portal with a summary of the article within 200 words. Alongside a public share of the picture from the website gallery comprising the tags #findtheheadline, #thedailystar, in their respective Facebook account to win a food coupon of BDT 1000 from Hungrynaki.
There would be 15 winners weekly, selected by a jury panel consisting of members from both The Daily Star and HungryNaki; among all valid entries received based on the most unique/informative/creative message and picture. In addition, the winners would be announced every Sunday during the contest week on the Facebook page of The Daily Star and Hungrynaki.

Art and Essay Writing Competition to celebrate Golden Jubilee of Victorious Bangladesh

Please be informed that the World University of Bangladesh, as a mark of remembrance of the Golden Jubilee of Victorious Bangladesh, is organizing an art and essay writing competition for classes 11 and 12 students. The winners of the competition will receive certificates, crest, and monetary prizes ranging from 3000 TK- 50,000 TK. The details of the competitions are given below along with the form that interested participants need to fill up and submit:
