Dear Parents of KGII to Class 12,
Ramadan Mubarak.
Hope you all are in good health.
When we moved to our own campus at United City, we knew the road condition will take time to develop despite the fact that we enjoy a vast campus area. We have always tried to effectively manage the traffic in front of the school. As parents, you have always supported us in maintaining the traffic rules. When we started the United City campus, at that time, we had the opportunity to use a road connected to the 100feet as a temporary arrival and departure bay. That entrance unfortunately cannot be used as that area has been handed over to a different authority. We have only managed to take permission for few buses to use that route for a very short time period. It is not a long-term solution for the school traffic. However, we are looking at other options to create a second entrance for the school. We are also looking at a separate pick up/ departure point for students in certain classes which can be helpful to address the traffic condition further. In the meantime, we are trying out various methods to manage the rush of the traffic. We have -
- staggered departure timing for all class level,
- offering bus service from school,
- self-driven car park at the basement
- Early opening of gate of the school in the morning
- Increased guards and other support staff to manage the arrival and departure time
- Waiting area facility for siblings
However, we strongly believe that School Bus system is the safest and most secured option for students and would request parents to avail that option as soon as possible. Our buses are safe, and it can save your valuable time. It is a very good option during the monsoon time as well. We will be introducing several new routes for our Bus service. Please keep an eye on our website for that. We would also like to encourage you to do car-pooling where students from the same building or nearby locality may share one vehicle instead of several cars. Please keep in mind that school is trying to solve the traffic issue in front of the school, and I am sure we can succeed with your kind support.
Regards.
