It was just a year ago that the whole school community was shaken by the sudden death of Tasnia from Class 3 who had an accident during one weekend.  She was a well known girl as her talents crossed the spectrum.  She would often collect certificates for Art, Attendance, or other activities such as Poetry recitation or Piano.  At this anniversary we remember the pleasure Tasnia brought into our lives and share the sorrow of her loss with her family members.  Below are thoughts from her class mates.

In loving memory of Tasnia:

She was a friend of mine,

Never quiet for a while,

She was always having fun,

Shining like a sun.

She was Tasnia

And she will never come back again.

My best friend Tasnia.  I remember lots of things, like the day in Class 1 when we did all kinds of fun when our English Miss was absent and there was no other teacher to do our English class. Also the day of Pohela Boishakh. We had a lot of fun, face painting, eating pop corn and we did a lot of other stuff. We even had some sad times. I can never forget the day when we had a big fight. No one could bring us back together. But after a few days we became friends. Those were such happy times not so long ago.. You might leave me but you will always be in my heart.

Dear Tasnia,

I wish you were here in this world and could be a part of my life again. I miss you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you are happy in heaven. Though we had fights, we were always friends. I will always remember you for the big sweet smile you used to give.

The happiness was gone when my beloved friend Tasnia left us all alone. She went to a place which has no address. It was 31st May, 2011 when she passed away and 11th June was her birthday.

Tasnia was a great source of happiness in our class. I hope that her departed soul is at peace.

When Tasnia passed away I was devastated. I lost my best friend forever. If she were here today, I would still always be her friend. Tasnia and I were friends since Playgroup, so I cherish our moments together. I will always remember our years of friendship and the times she stood up for me.

Tasnia was my best friend from Playgroup. I played, talked and shared all my secrets with her. Tasnia and I spent a lot of fun time together. It has been a year without her. She died on 31st May 2011, 11 days before her birthday. If she was still here I would be very joyful. Every day I used to call her and she used to call me. She wanted to be an Architect when she grew up. I hope she is watching me and she is in Heaven.

Dear Tasnia,

You had a smile that bloomed among all of us. I still remember the best memories we had together. You were my closest friend. You were the smartest, cleverest and the most interesting student. I admired your talent. You were like a shining diamond among all of the pearls. You were a star that completed a constellation. You possessed a smile that would make happiness glow in everyone’s heart. You are kept as a memory in our minds that can never be forgotten. You will always be in our prayers. Oh! Dear friend we will meet again, maybe not on Earth but somewhere even greater.
