1000 trees planted

On Thursday, 19th September 2019, Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company with more than 95 years of innovation and leadership in Diabetes care, has generously donated 1000 plants to Sir John Wilson School.

Novo Nordisk Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd donated these plants to our school under a programme called Circular for Zero which is an environment related initiative. Under this Circular for Zero initiative they would like to motivate the young students on Tree Plantation.

Novo Nordisk's Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Business Area Oceania South East Asia, Ms Sebnem Avsar Tuna and the Vice President and General Manager of Novo Nordisk, Bangladesh, Mr. Anand Shetty, visited the school and briefed our students from the Junior section about the Novo Nordisk’s circular for Zero initiative and how we all can be a part of it.

We hope this event will increase environmental awareness among the students. They will be more conscious about environmental issues and will be able to take small steps toward the conservation of the environment. This is how they can become the custodian of the environment.
