English Lit:

1. Answer the following question: “If you were ever shipwrecked & you managed to survive & you were given a choice to bring 5 things with you-what would you bring?” Illustrate 5 things and give a brief explanation (description and its usefulness) next to each. 
2. Read chapters 20-25 of Life of Pi and underline the important points and new vocabulary words.
3. Write a short bullet point summaries for each chapters (chapters 20-25).
4. From Mrs. Patel’s point of view, write a diary entry of her thoughts, feelings and opinions of when Mr. Patel made his sons, Pi and Ravi watch the tiger devour the goat in the cage.
5. With at least 10 new words that you have learnt from Life of Pi from chapters 1-15, write an interesting paragraph of your own related to the characters and plot of the story.

English Lang:

1. Read a current article from a daily newspaper, take inspiration & write an article of 150-200 words about your reaction on the continuous blockades.
2. Also, write a formal letter to a newspaper editor requesting to publish your article in their newspaper.  Remember to use the correct format and be as descriptive and persuasive as possible.
3. Do exercise 1-3 on gerunds from page-37 &38.
4. Read ‘The Meeting Pool’ from Gul Mohar reader 7, (pages 48-51) and go through the word meanings given with the text.  With at least 5 of the words from the word meanings write an interesting and descriptive paragraph of your choice.

Bangla Lit:

Shoptoborna –  Kuli Mojur (Pg 76-78)

-Read the poem thoroughly

- Write the terminology of the given words-kuli, jogot, mithyabadi, crore, jahaj, dhulikona, ottalika, rin, pahar, ongo.

- memorize and write the first 10 lines of the poem ‘Kuli Mojur’
